Crowding Thirty-seven paved trailer spots for the cluster's least famous water — the lot rarely tests its limits outside hunting-season mornings and airboat-event days. The traffic character is different here: expect airboats loading at their own ramp beside you.
Plan B — if this lot is full Nothing else launches trailer boats onto Garcia — the whole complex is this one address. The alternatives are all DIFFERENT water: the Headwaters Boat Ramp about 11 miles north (mind its 2026 first-full-week Mon–Thu closures, Aug 3–6 and Sept 8–10 remaining) and Stick Marsh's Fellsmere Grade Recreation Area about 12 miles north; Blue Cypress Lake's county ramps and Middleton's Fish Camp lie to the southwest — also different water, and NOT a back door into Garcia.

One Address, Three Ramps
The 512 Rec Pad at 3725 County Road 512 is a small launch complex: the main two-lane concrete ramp with a floating dock, a dedicated airboat ramp 90 yards northeast, and a single-lane South Marsh pad 90 yards southwest posted 'No Airboats - No Motors Over 10 HP.' All free, sharing one paved lot, a composting restroom, pavilion and grills.
The 10-HP South Marsh Pad
The little third ramp is its own rulebook: no airboats and no motors over 10 horsepower on the water it serves. It's the jon-boat-and-kayak door to the southern marsh; if you're trailering a bass rig or an airboat, you want the other two lanes. Don't back down the wrong pad in the dark.
Open All Night
Unusual for this cluster: FWC lists the site 24 hours, and the main ramp is lighted. That makes Garcia the realistic pre-dawn or after-dark option when Headwaters and Kenansville are gated — but night here means 1.5–6 feet of marsh, borrow-pit edges, and the L-77 strobes flashing along the west levee. Earn the night runs in daylight first.
Airboat Central
The dedicated airboat ramp and SJRWMD's by-appointment tour concessionaires make this the cluster's airboat hub alongside Stick Marsh — the dawn soundtrack is part of the deal. Airboats stage at their own ramp; everyone idles in the L-77 zone. Camping bonus: primitive Garcia Camp, an SJRWMD named campsite, sits about three-quarters of a mile west.
