Bare-Bones by Design
One sand lane at the end of Hopkins Landing Road, rated 'Needs Repair' by FWC, three gravel spots, no dock, no toilet, no fee, open around the clock. This is a jon-boat and airboat put-in, full stop — Jefferson County's own recreation page doesn't even mention it, so expect exactly what you see and nothing more.
The Quiet Northeast Corner
Hopkins works the lake's northeast shore near the old Miccosukee community side of the county line — when there's water, it's the closest door to the north marsh runs without the Reeves traffic. Duck-season rules apply lake-wide: Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and posted holiday dates only, nothing over 10 hp during regular-season dates.
