Crowding The lake's flagship ramp — ten paved trailer spots and the only double lane — but through the 2025-26 dry-down the lot has little reason to fill.
Plan B — if this lot is full Cypress Landing (~3 mi south) has the lake's only docks and restroom. During the dry-down the real plan B is different water: Lake Talquin west of Tallahassee for deep, stable levels — noting Lake Jackson, the other nearby option, is running its own dry-down with small-craft-only launching.

Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
The Flagship, Waiting on Water
Asphalt surface rated Good to Excellent, the lake's only double lane, ten paved trailer spots, free and open 24 hours — on paper the best ramp on Lake Miccosukee, and as of July 2026 a ramp to a prairie. FWC's inventory keeps it 'Open for Business' because the facility is fine; the lake is what's missing.
Reeves Fish Camp Ghost
The landing takes its name from the old Reeves Fish Camp, which sold minnows to generations of bluegill and crappie anglers here. Forum posts had the camp fading by the early 2020s and reportedly no longer operating by late 2022 (angler reports — anecdotal). No bait on the lake now; buy it in town.
Sink-End Water
You're on the northwest shore near Miccosukee Sink and the 1954 dike-and-gate structure that made the modern lake — the plumbing that's been at the center of the anglers-versus-ecology argument for 70 years. When water returns, this end puts you closest to the runs coming off the north marsh.
