Water DepthNo agency publishes a depth at this ramp, but unusually for this corner of Polk County the lake itself is gauged: USGS 02268600, "Lake Rosalie near Lake Wales, FL," read 52.16 ft NGVD29 on July 28, 2026 (provisional), holding between 52.15 and 52.22 through the last third of the month. That is a lake elevation, not a depth on the concrete. The lake's sixteen-foot maximum is out in the middle. Idle out and read the water.

Crowding One lane, a staging dock and parking for about ten rigs on grass and sand — comfortable on a weekday, tight on a spring Saturday, because this is the only free public launch on either Lake Rosalie or Tiger Lake and it is also the campground's launch. The spawn months and holiday mornings are when the lot fills. Rig in the lot, not on the lane, and be ready to back in more than once on soft ground.
Plan B — if this lot is full There is no second public ramp on Lake Rosalie. Camp Rosalie, at 300 Camp Rosalie Rd. on the north end, appears in FWC's inventory as open 24 hours with no fee, but those details are a 2009 survey with no live confirmation and no working website — call ahead before you tow. Everything else is DIFFERENT water reached by road, not by boat, because the G-103 weir has no lock: Camp Mack, The Old Florida Lodge, Marina, and RV Resort (14900 Camp Mack Road, Lake Wales, 863-696-1108), on the C-37 connector between Lake Hatchineha and Lake Kissimmee, runs a ramp open 24 hours a day with a published $6.00 self-serve fee. Lake Kissimmee State Park's ramp sits east of the weir and launches you onto the Kissimmee side — $5 per vehicle park entry, no separate launch fee. Farther out and also trailer trips: Port Hatchineha Public Boat Ramp on Lake Hatchineha and Lake Cypress Public Boat Ramp on Cypress Lake.

The Ramp Never Closed
If you read that Lake Rosalie's ramp shut in 2025, that was the campground renovation. Polk County's own April 18, 2025 announcement says plainly: "the county boat ramp and park remain open during normal operational hours." The county's park page dates from October 2025, though — ring (863) 534-4340 if it is a long drive.
Free, and the Only One
No launch fee, and this is the only free public launch on either Lake Rosalie or Tiger Lake — Tiger has no public ramp at all. One concrete lane in good condition, a staging dock, an accessible flush restroom, and grass-and-sand parking for about ten rigs. Gates 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. — the county's hours, not the 2009 FWC survey's.

FWC records the flush restroom as accessible but leaves the site's overall accessibility unrated — the ramp, approach and dock are unassessed. Polk County Parks and Recreation, (863) 534-4340, is the number to ask.
Where This Ramp Actually Gets You
Rosalie Creek runs two miles into Tiger Lake, Tiger Creek two more into Lake Kissimmee — the Buster Island ring — but no published depth says a powerboat makes it; call the state park at (863) 696-1112. The Zipprer Canal is closed by the G-103 weir — no lock, motorboats banned west of it. Weohyakapka Creek's navigability is unpublished.
