The Dark-Thirty Door
Coleman Landing is the lake's 24-hour ramp — one concrete lane with a floating launch dock off CR 514, free, and pointed straight at the open grass. The wild-shiner crowd that wants lines wet before gray light launches here by default.
East-Side Advantage
From this landing the northeast flats and the deeper grass edges are minutes away — prime crappie drifting water in the cool months and the shortest run to a good chunk of the bedding flats in spring. Ten trailer spots mean bedding-moon mornings reward the early.
Check the Name
Florida has more than one Coleman Landing: this one on Panasoffkee, and another at Shady Oaks on Lake Kissimmee — and this lake also has a Shady Brook park of its own. When you're sharing pins or reading reports, confirm the lake before the landing.
