Shady Brook Greenway is the lake's contemplative corner — a single concrete lane with a floating dock on 84 park acres where the brook meets the lake's southeast shore. Flush restrooms, shoreline fishing, canoe-friendly water, a disc golf course, and rarely a wait. When Marsh Bend feels like an event, this is the antidote.
Creek-Mouth Fishing
The Shady Brook mouth concentrates bait and the panfish that follow it — worth a dozen casts before you ever leave sight of the dock, and a reliable paddle-craft circuit when the open flats are blowing.
