Currently Closed
FWC — the ramp's manager of record per the Forest Service — lists it Temporarily Closed in the current inventory. Until that status flips, launch at the Recreation Area ramp a mile north.
When Open
A gently sloped free launch with a courtesy dock just south of the rec area — eight trailer spots, no facilities, and a rough entrance road the USFS itself says favors four-wheel drive, with ample turn-around at the bottom. The no-fee alternative to the day-use system, when it's running.
Check Before Towing
Forest facility statuses move without ceremony — a call to the Seminole Ranger District or a look at FWC's ramp finder before a trip built around this ramp is the ten-second insurance.
