The Reliable Door
One concrete lane with a launch dock inside the Recreation Area's day-use zone — five trailer and fifteen vehicle spots under the oak hammock, 6 AM to 8 PM, on the Recreation.gov day-use pass (buy online or scan the QR on arrival; a pass doesn't guarantee parking — first-come rules).
Day-Use Terms
Pets are prohibited in the day-use area by forest order — leave the dog home for launch days here. Weekends run full by mid-morning in summer; the Forest Service's own advice is to have backup plans.
Everything Attached
Swim area, picnic hammock, campground next door, cabin across the lake — this ramp anchors the forest's most complete recreation package.
