The Quieter Leesburg Door
Ski Beach is Venetian Gardens' low-key neighbor — two concrete lanes with a floating dock, a modest lot, and a genuine swimming beach on the main lake. When the Gardens host a tournament or a festival, slide the trailer here instead; it's a few blocks and a world of difference.
Paddler's Pick
The dedicated floating kayak launch makes this the west shore's cleanest paddle put-in — no jockeying with trailers, straight onto open water, with the western grass lines and the calmer morning lake right there. Sunrise paddles here are the good kind of empty.
Beach and Boat in One Stop
The name is literal — this has been Leesburg's water-ski and swim beach for generations, and the swim-plus-launch combination makes it the family compromise stop. Keep the throttle gentle and eyes open anywhere near the beach buoys.

Ski Beach and Venetian Gardens sit close enough to treat as one facility with two moods: four-lane capacity and event energy at the Gardens, small-scale calm here. Check the city's event calendar and pick accordingly.
