Crowding Three gravel spots and rarely a fight for them — the northwest shore's small-boat door, best for jon boats and paddlers who'd rather skip the run across from Marsh Park.
Plan B — if this lot is full Marsh Memorial Park across the lake is the full-service fallback — two lanes, launch dock, restroom, paved lot, also free and 24 hours. Do NOT aim for the old East ramp between here and there: the county closed it permanently in 2022.

Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Primitive but Enough
One concrete lane, no dock, three gravel spots FWC itself grades 'Needs Repair,' no restroom — free, open around the clock. That's the entire facility, and for a light rig chasing the northwest shore's edges it's all you need. Know what you're getting and it won't disappoint.
The North Shore's Survivor
There used to be two north-side ramps. The East ramp — concrete, dock, six spaces — was permanently closed by the county on April 25, 2022 (FWC still holds the easement), which left this modest lane as the only public door on Yale's whole northern half. If it's ever unusable, the day starts at Marsh Park.
